Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to empowering high school students and young women in their 20s as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. My journey in social work began with a passion for helping young people and women heal from trauma and develop the skills needed to thrive.

I focus on supporting high school-aged individuals and adult women in their 20s, a crucial time of self-discovery, change, and personal growth. I am committed to helping my clients build a strong sense of self and develop the resilience needed to face life’s hurdles. I particularly enjoy working with those who are highly sensitive, as I appreciate their unique strengths and perspectives.

Discovering one’s identity and sense of self is at the heart of my therapeutic approach. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their values, beliefs, and aspirations, empowering them to embrace their true selves and make confident decisions about their futures.

Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, academic or career-related stress, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, I am here to provide compassionate and effective support. My approach is personalized, understanding each client’s unique needs and tailoring therapy sessions to promote growth and empowerment.

I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based approach that combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with trauma-sensitive interventions. As a rostered clinician in TF-CBT, I focus on helping clients overcome emotional and behavioral difficulties resulting from traumatic experiences, fostering resilience and recovery. I am also trained in the Modular Approach to Therapy for those dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

As a native of Charlotte, I deeply connect to this vibrant community. In my free time, you might find me practicing yoga, exploring new destinations, or enjoying moments with family, friends, and my beloved cat. These personal experiences enrich my understanding of life’s complexities and the importance of a supportive network.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University and earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Winthrop University in 2021. My academic and professional journey has equipped me with the skills and empathy needed to make a positive impact in the lives of high school students and young women I work with.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you in discovering your strengths and navigating your path to a brighter future.
