I’m a passionate and dedicated social worker who believes deeply in the power of mental health support and advocacy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, I’m committed to offering culturally competent, client-centered care that respects and honors the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual I work with. My focus is on working with adolescents (ages 12 and older) and young adults.
My therapeutic approach is all about collaboration and empowerment. I draw from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients build on their inherent strengths. I firmly believe that each person is the expert of their own life, and I see my role as a supportive guide in their journey toward personal growth and resilience. My goal as a therapist is for clients to be able to connect with their authentic self and to create the boundaries needed to achieve their definition of success.
I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and my goal is always to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard, valued, and understood. Whether working with adults or adolescents, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, focusing on their goals and well-being. If this sounds like what you are looking for or you resonate with this style, I would love to join you on your journey. My areas of specialty include the treatment of anxiety/depression, relationships issues, trauma, women’s issues, self-esteem and career counseling.
Growing up in Charlotte, I developed a deep connection to the community, and I love spending my free time with family, diving into a good book, exploring new restaurants, or staying active. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro (2021) and my Master’s in Social Work from Johnson C. Smith University (2024).
I am currently seeing clients both in person and via telehealth. I am in network with Aetna and Cigna/Evernorth, and will soon be in network with BCBS, Medcost, and CBHA. I am seeing all other clients using their out of network benefits.
