Life transitions such as starting college, becoming a parent, navigating grief, relationship challenges, or managing health concerns can feel overwhelming and uncertain. During these times, having a supportive and understanding space can help you regain clarity and balance. I believe in creating a therapy environment where clients feel seen, supported, and understood. My approach is grounded in respect and collaboration, helping individuals move toward greater emotional well-being and resilience.
I use strength-based and solution-focused approaches while integrating evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, with a focus on developing practical skills that support long-term mental health and growth. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and life transitions, with a special interest in supporting women ages 15 and over who are navigating periods of significant change.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina and provide both in-person and telehealth sessions.
I am a provider for Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Meritain, and MedCost. While I am not a provider for United Healthcare, Carawell Counseling can provide a superbill for submission toward out-of-network benefits.
