About Us

Empowering Women’s Mental Health Across All Life Stages
At Carawell Counseling, we understand that a woman’s overall well-being is deeply connected to her mental health. Whether you are navigating the challenges of adolescence, the pressures of adulthood, or the transitions that come with aging, your mental health deserves focused and compassionate care. At every stage of life, you are worthy of support, and we are here to provide it.

Our Commitment to Comprehensive Care
What sets Carawell Counseling apart is our dedicated focus on comprehensive care for primarily women’s mental health across the lifespan. We specialize in providing a safe, nurturing, and validating environment where you can explore their feelings, process their experiences, and work towards personal growth and wellness. Our experienced therapists prioritize building authentic connections with our clients, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their mental health journey.

Mind-Body Connection in Healing
At Carawell Counseling, we strongly believe in the power of the mind-body connection in the healing process. We take a holistic approach to mental health, understanding that true wellness involves both emotional and physical well-being. Our therapy sessions are designed to help you reconnect with yourself, heal past wounds, and move forward with confidence and resilience. We believe that by working through your past, embracing your present, and planning for your future, you can achieve wholeness and balance in your life and relationships.

Our Origins & Philosophy

The name “Carawell” reflects our core philosophy and approach to therapy. Inspired by the Celtic word “Cara,” which signifies connection and companionship, our practice is built on the idea that healing happens through meaningful relationships. In Celtic tradition, an Anam “Cara” is a soul friend, mentor, or spiritual guide, symbolizing a deep bond of trust and support. Our logo, the Celtic triskelion, represents movement, progress, and wholeness, encapsulating the journey of healing in mind, body, and spirit. The three extensions of the triskelion symbolize “past, present, and future” as well as the harmony of “spirit, mind, and body.”

The Importance of Connection
For women, connection is a vital part of personal growth and healing. Having a trusted companion to walk with you through your challenges—whether they stem from the past, are present in your life now, or may arise in the future—can make a profound difference in your mental health journey. At Carawell Counseling, we are committed to being that companion, helping you uncover your inner strength and guiding you towards long-lasting change and wellness.
